Aesop's fables. Simple, easy to understand, short, clear and mostly interesting. It implies to us that the fox always sly but smart. many other animals can't like the fox.
It reflects me that in this society, theres always been like the fox and the crow. The moral of the fables tell us not to trust the flatterers. It also tell us to have own judgment. Fox would do anything to achieve his goals. He did it but he did it in a wrong way. He is smart but he missuses his smartness to cheat the crow. In nowadays society, lots of happenings just like the fables the fox and the crow. Sending through SMS about you are winning the money but need to pay money for the processing fee, asking for survey through phone and all sorts of tricks being used to cheat other people just because of money. This reminds me not to be greedy. Most people being cheated just because of greediness and listening to the flatters.

Thats very true. Knowledge is used to help others. Thru the Aesop Fables, we can also integrate with other knowledge like morals. By telling the story and encorage them not to believe in flatterers is also an essential in life. Insincere praises are CANNOT be trusted. Its true nowadays people use all sorts of way to gain your trust in order to satisfy their greed. Greed will also be the down fall of man. As the Malay proverbs says “Orang yang tamak selalu rugi”. By having aseop fables we can instill moral value in our children. We want our children to be an honest and reliable persn when they grow up.
ReplyDeleteYes, the story not only instill the moral values, it also reveals nowadays society. Story indeed a good way to teach children. It just not limited to the story, it also promotes thinking and habits.Learning English should be fun and enjoyable. I think I will impose it in my next week lesson's for new KSSR year 1 syllabus as year 1 should have 1 day for singing, acting, story-telling and so on. This is my chance to impose it.
ReplyDeleteto understand better for the story, I uploaded the animation for better understanding for the audience especially for the children. It also can be used as materials in teaching class.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Our society now is all surrounded by all kind of trick and lies just to cheat people. All this happened just because of one word "GREEDY". i believe that all human being are greedy, and it's our challenge now to teach the children about the good moral values because the children borned just like a white paper, they learned all things no matter it's wrong or correct. So we as the teacher has the responsibility to teach them the right things. this Story can be a good teaching materials to teach them not to be greedy, listening to the flatters, praising without sincere and so on.
