This is a story that relate to spirit and ghost. What is it actually? It has been a question for me for a long time.

            In the definition, a ghost is the soul or spirit of a deceased person or animal that can appear, in visible form or other manifestation, to the living. It can be range from an invisible presence to translucent or wispy shpes, to realistic, life-like visions.  Those who attempt to contact the spirit of a deceased person is known as asnecromancy, or in spiritism as a séance.

            In the story, Lucy is able to communicate to the death, Miss Bromme.  She is terrified when she sees the typewriter would type words by itself and even types the words that threaten her.

            Lucy is able to tackle the angry ghost and managed to communicate with her. She comforts her by listening through the words from the typewriter. Lucy felt sorry for her and tries to understand her situation. Here, spirit or ghost is in the typewriter. It is not like the one input from child to adulthood. Many ghost stories told by books, movies as well as through radio. However, they are all stories.  For example of the movies are: “ The Ring”, “The Grudge”,”buddy” and so on.  The ghost being formed through many appearances in the movie. Western ghost story more to vampire, Chinese more on the spirit, vampire and so for Malay ghost stories. Some are terrify, some are mysteries, some are funny. They are all act out in different ways.

            Would you believe in ghost? Or do you think it is just the trick like magic to scare other people or to earn for living? Still, it seemed as it is unexplainable by science therefore, it is still mysteries. Singapore has form SPI or Singapore Paranormal Investigation mainly to search for the answers to prove to the audience. Would you believe? This is also followed by Malaysian Ghost Investigation. Both investigation is to prove that the ghosts are out there and to record it as a prove to make us believe it. Would you believe it? All are depend on you.
